Southern Connecticut women's basketball will cap its five-game road stint this weekend. On Saturday, Feb. 19, the Owls will travel to Albany, N.Y. to face The College of Saint Rose before traveling to North Easton, Mass. on Sunday, Feb. 20. The Owls are sitting in fourth of the Southwest Division of the Northeast 10, while the Golden Knights sit seventh. On the other side of the house, Stonehill sits third in the Northeast Division.
Spectator Policies
Saint Rose
- The College of Saint Rose expects that all visitors to campus, including those attending athletic, and student-led events, are fully vaccinated. We also recommend that visitors to our campus receive the booster shot prior to their visit to protect themselves and our campus community. This policy and recommendation is based on federal, state, and Albany County public health recommendations.
- In accordance with The College of Saint Rose's COVID-19 policy, all employees, students, and guests must wear masks inside all College buildings, including at all College events. This includes all guests and visitors to the campus. No exceptions. Guests without masks will be provided with a mask. Attendees at events who decline to wear a mask will be asked to leave the event and the building where the event is taking place.
Stonehill
- Prior to arriving on campus, each member of your party must complete the Stonehill centralized Campus Access Authorization Form. Please note the online form must be completed on the day of your planned visit, and if you or any member of your travel party is exhibiting any COVID symptoms, you may not access the Stonehill campus. Once you complete the form, you will receive an email credential, which you must print out or show on your mobile device to the gate attendant at the main entrance.
- When attending an indoor competition, all spectators must wear a mask at all times while inside the competition venue, regardless of vaccination status.
Last Time Out
Southern fell to the University of New Haven, 71-63, on the road.
Alexa Kellner tallied a team-high 18 points, while
Jessica Fressle and Zoe Amalbert had 12 points each.
All-Time Against Saint Rose: 29-11
Last Time They Met: These squads met earlier this season on Dec. 7, 2021, where the Owls captured the victory, 75-42, at home.
Jessica Fressle had 23 points, 12 rebounds, and two steals, while
Delaney Connors chipped in 15 points and Zoe Amalbert had 13 points, 10 assists, and four steals.

Last Time They Met: Stonehill captured the last meeting with the Owls on Jan. 25, 2020.
Alexa Kellner had 16 points on 50-percent shooting from the field, in addition to seven rebounds.
Jessica Fressle recorded 13 points, nine rebounds, and two steals.

Southern Connecticut
- The Owls are 3-2 in their last five outings. They picked up crucial Southwest Division conference wins over Saint Anselm (105-69) and Pace (62-44) and grabbed a cross-division win over Saint Michael's in overtime (67-53). The dropped divisional contests to Le Moyne (59-49) and New Haven (71-63), both on the road.
- Alexa Kellner has been heating up for Southern. In Kellner's last five games, she has shot 64-percent from the field and 61-percent from three-point range, in addition to bringing down 26 boards in that span.
Saint Rose
- The Golden Knights are 1-4 in their last five games played. Their lone win came in their last game against Franklin Pierce where they defeated the Ravens, 84-77, at home. Saint Rose fell to Le Moyne (58-46), Pace (70-62), New Haven (74-62), and Adelphi (62-56).
- Nina Fedullo has been the most consistent player for Saint Rose this season. Fedullo is averaging 10.3 points per game and 7.8 rebounds per game, while shooting 44-percent from the field. In addition, Fedullo has snagged a team-leading 24 blocks, 23 assists and 10 steals.
Stonehill
- The Skyhawks are winners of four of their last five games. In that span, they picked up victories over Franklin Pierce (79-62), Assumption (65-51), American International (60-51), and Saint Michael's (72-51). Their lone loss came against Pace, where the Setters took down the Skyhawks, 67-54.
- Kayla Raymond has been the Skyhawks ace all season long. Raymond averages 18.7 points per game on 42-percent shooting from the field.

- Zoë Amalbert is first in the conference in total assists with 136 and first in assists per game with 6.2.
- Jessica Fressle is second in rebounds per game (10.9) and fifth in the conference in points per game (16.8). Fressle is also third in free throws made (100-127), second in total rebounds with 239 and fifth in points (370).
- Alexa Kellner is fourth in the conference in three-point shooting percentage (40.8).
- As a team, the Owls are first in the conference in three-pointers made (188), first in assists with 16.8 per game, fourth in points per game (66.8), and fifth in free throw percentage (74.8).
