The Owls' Last Timeout
Southern held off No. 10 Adelphi, 72-66, in the Owls' First Round matchup on Friday, Feb. 24 at James Moore Field House. Isabella Santoro posted her fourth double-double of the season with 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Owls. Delaney Connors broke out for 14 points, powered by 4-of-6 shooting from three-point range, and Katie Williamson and Zoe Amalbert dropped in 13 points each.

The Owls In The NE10 Tournament

With its win against Adelphi, Southern is now 19-15 all-time in the NE10 Tournament.
The Owls have reached the Semifinals seven times, and the tournament finals three times, with a 2-1 record in NE10 Championship games.
Southern won the NE10 Tournament in 2005-06 and 2006-07 and finished as the runner-up in 2011-12.

Owls Notes

Southern completed the regular season with an overall record of 17-10.
The Owls lost back-to-back games to end the regular season, after winning six of their previous seven games.
Southern entered the tournament ranked 13^th nationally in scoring defense allowing 55.3 points per game.
The Owls also ranked 21^st nationally after holding teams to 35.5% shooting from the floor for the year.
Southern has won its last six games in which it has reached 60 points.
Zoe Amalbert leads the Owls with 13.3 points per game, as well as team-highs in assists (4.6) and steals (1.5) with 4.1 rebounds per game.
Isabella Santoro averages 11.7 points and 6.0 rebounds per game while shooting 49.2% from the floor and a team-leading 44.1% from three-point range.
Santoro is coming off back-to-back double-doubles in which she totaled 18 points and 10 rebounds against Assumption on Feb. 21 and 18 points and 11 rebounds in the Owls First Round win against Adelphi. Against the Panthers, Santoro also had four assists and five steals.
Katie Williamson's breakout season has produced 11.6 points and a team-high 6.9 rebounds per game, while her 1.1 blocks per contest also lead the Owls. Williamson has scored in double figures in seven of her last eight games.
Delaney Connors is coming off a big game against Adelphi in which she totaled 14 points on 4-of-6 shooting from the floor. Connors averages 8.2 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game.
