The Last Time They Met
Southern came from behind to defeat Pace, 59-52, in their meeting earlier this season. Sean James (West Hartford, Conn.) led the Owls with 14 points off the bench on the strength of 4-for-6 shooting from three-point range, include three from long range over the final 10 minutes of the game. Kazell Stewart (East Hartford, Conn.) had 13 points, including a thunderous baseline dunk that gave the Owls the lead and sent the Owls' faithful at Moore Field House into a frenzy. Ulyen Coleman (Brockton, Mass.) also had 13 points while Marty Silvera (Worcester, Mass.) totaled 11 points, six rebounds, five assists and four steals.
