SCSU Volleyball Sweeps Holy Family, 3-0



NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Southern Connecticut volleyball swept Holy Family, 3-0, in a non-conference matchup at Pelz Gym in New Haven, Conn. The win was the Owls' fourth-straight as they improved to 8-5 overall while Holy Family dropped to 2-11 on the season.

Sara Enright led the Owls with 10 kills while also recording two aces and two blocks. Carissa Michel had five kills, two aces and two blocks while freshman Ahunna James had five aces and nine digs. Dylan Marney had three aces for the Owls while Emily Sartell had eight digs.

Southern is back in action on Friday, Sept. 22 when it hosts Daemen at 6 p.m. at Pelz Gymnasium. The Owls will then play at Caldwell on Tuesday, Sept. 26 before returning home to host Felician on Thursday, Sept. 28.
