SCSU Athletics & Recreation Places 275 On Fall 2023 NE10 Academic Honor Roll

MANSFIELD, Mass. – Southern Connecticut State University Athletics & Recreation placed 275 student-athletes on the Fall 2023 Northeast-10 Conference Academic Honor Roll, as released by the NE10 on Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024.

The NE10 Academic Honor Roll acknowledges the commitment of NE10 student-athletes to excel in the classroom with three designations: Academic Excellence (4.0 GPA), Academic Distinction (3.50-3.99 GPA) and Academic Honors (3.00-3.49). 

Of the Owls' 275 honorees, 38 earned Academic Excellence (4.00 GPA); 152 had a GPA between 3.50 and 3.99 and earned Academic Distinction while 85 had a GPA between 3.00 and 3.49 to earn Academic Honors.

Eight of the Owls' 38 student-athletes with a 4.00 GPA came from the Women's Soccer program while Women's Track & Field featured seven 4.0 student-athletes. Men's Cross Country and Track & Field featured six while Football had five student-athletes.
