First-Ever Meet The Owls Event Moved Inside To James Moore Field House With Threat of Rain

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – With the threat of inclement weather, Southern Connecticut State University Athletics & Recreation will move the inaugural "Meet The Owls" indoors to James Moore Field House. The  event is on Monday, Aug. 26 from 6-8 p.m.

The event will celebrate the start of the 2024-25 academic year, highlighting the Fall 2024 teams as they open competition that weekend. The event will feature food trucks, interactive games and contests and giveaways including schedule posters and team pictures to be autographed by the 200-plus student-athletes competing in the Fall.

"Meet The Owls" will be open to the public and serve as a welcome to SCSU's Class of 2028 and a Welcome Back for all other students that move onto campus that weekend.
