Sean Horrigan Named NE10 Rookie of the Week

Southern Connecticut men's indoor track & field freshman Sean Horrigan was named the Northeast 10 Conference Rookie of the Week for Week 1 of the 2025-26 season.

Horrigan, competing in his first collegiate meet, won the Pole Vault at the Yale Season opener, clearing a height of 4.40m. That is the highest mark recorded in the NE10 this season.

Horrigan and the Owls return to action this weekend for the Art Kadish Elm City Challenge, hosted by SCSU on Friday, December 12th and Satuday, December 13th.
