Hannah Caiola Selected for NCAA DII Indoor Track & Field National Championships

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Southern Connecticut Women's Indoor Track & Field standout Hannah Caiola was selected selected to compete in the 400m Dash at the 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships, as announced by the NCAA on Tuesday, March 4th. The championships will be held March 13-15 in Indianapolis, Indiana, at the Indiana Farm Bureau Fall Creek Pavilion. The University of Indianapolis and Indiana Sports Corp will serve as co-hosts of the championships.

Caiola qualified for the championships by reaching a provisional standard established for each event. For each individual event contested, the top 18 declared student-athletes were accepted into the competition.

Caiola was absolutely dominant on the track this season. She kicked off her season by setting the NCAA Division II Record in the 300m Dash at the Boston University Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener. She ran the third fastest time in the 400m Dash in all of DII at the Boston University John Thomas Terrier Classic with a time of 53.4. That time is 12th all-time in Division II. Caiola also holds a top-50 time nationally in the 200m Dash. She won both the 200m Dash and 400m Dash at the Northeast-10 Indoor Track & Field Championships, and held the top time in the conference in the 200m, 300m, 400m, 500m, and 4x400m Relay. She was named the NE10 Track Athlete of the Week twice and also landed on the NE10's Faces in the Crowd two times this season. It is her first time qualifying for the Indoor Nationals after placing ninth in the 400m Dash at last years's Outdoor Nationals.

The championships will be held March 13-15 in Indianapolis, Indiana, at the Indiana Farm Bureau Fall Creek Pavilion. The University of Indianapolis and Indiana Sports Corp will serve as co-hosts of the championships. The championships will be streamed live on www.NCAA.com.
