SCSU Field Hockey Falls To No. 9 Mansfield

MANSFIELD, Pa. – Southern Connecticut field hockey lost to NFHCA No. 9 Mansfield, 6-0, at the Mountaineers' Dr. Art DeGenaro Classic in Mansfield, Pa. With the loss, Southern opened the year at 2-0 while Mansfield improved to 2-0.



Rachel Miller had six saves in the game, all in the first half, while Lyndsay Troisi had four saves in the final 30 minutes of play.

Southern returns home to host Southern New Hampshire on Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 6 p.m. at Jess Dow Field.
