Biography

As a Junior in 2025:
  • Appeared in 12 games, including one start
  • Scored her lone goal of the season against St. Thomas Aquinas
As a Sophomore in 2024:
  • Appeared in 10 games
  • Scored two goals and added an assist for five points
  • First career goal came against Franklin Pierce on 9/18/2024
  • Had a goal and an assist against Mercy on 11/1/2024
Before Southern Connecticut:
  • 2022 All-FCIAC West Award.
  • 2021 All- FCIAC Honorable Mention.
  • Other Honors: 2022-2023 Class Act Student Council Member at Danbury High School.
  • Played scholastically at Danbury High School and graduated in 2023. 
Why Southern:
"I chose Southern initially because of its highly-accredited nursing program. I was also drawn to the school's culture and diversity. I liked that it was close to home but far enough away at the same time, and the fact that my childhood best friend also attends SCSU.."
 
Personal:
Major: Nursing.
Nickname: Kate-teen; when I switched my jersey number to #18, I made a joke to my teammates/coaches about why I switched. I said that it was because I'm kate-teen (I was 18 at the time). I didn't think it was that funny of a joke but it stuck and pretty much everyone on the team calls me that now.
Favorite TV show is Modern Family and favorite movie is Superbad.
Favorite food is Tacos and favorite ice cream is Cookie Dough.
Says wearing the SCSU logo means, "Wearing the SCSU logo means to me that I am proud to be a member of the Southern community as both a student and athlete."
Proudest accomplishment: Being a good friend and teammate to everyone and uplifting myself and others by maintaining a positive attitude even when facing adversity. And being able to transfer into SCSU my freshman year, walk onto the field hockey team and get accepted into the nursing program.
Post-SCSU goal: Become a traveling nurse and decide if I want to go back to school. I also want to travel more internationally.
Fun Fact: I don't know... I started school a year early when I was in kindergarten so I am younger than the majority of my class.
Best concert: Tame Impala.
