Southern Connecticut State University will host the 2011 New England Outdoor Track and Field Championships for both men and women. This event will take place on May 12-14, 2011. Approximately 75 teams, from all Divisions I, II and III, will travel to SCSU to compete at Jess Dow Field.
The "New England's" as the NEICAAA is affectionately known, is one of the oldest cross country and track & field conferences in the country. The outdoor championships just completed it's 123rd annual meet, while the indoor championship has been a mainstay since 1969. Cross country has a long history, running a championship meet since 1912.
