Sarah (Dube) Williams is in her ninth season as an assistant coach with the Owls in 2025.
Williams was a four-year member of the squad and still holds several SCSU career and single-season records. She is Southern’s all-time saves leader with 708 stops and is second in save percentage (.823) and fourth in wins (21).
Amongst single-season marks, Williams is second in single-season wins with 12 (set in 2003) and in save percentage at .880 (set in 2001). Her 1.61 goals against average in 2003 is the fifth-best single-season mark in school history.
She has previous collegiate coaching experience at Elms College (Mass.), where she was an assistant field hockey and lacrosse coach from 2004-06. Williams also served as head field hockey coach at Northampton (Mass.) High School in 2007.
