Former Owls' All-American Derrick Lewis is in his second year as a member of the coaching staff at his alma mater in 2017 and will coach the team's offensive line.
Lewis previously served as a head coach at the scholastic level at both Jonathan Law and Bassick and was an assistant at Harding and West Haven. Lewis earned SCC Coach of the Year honors while at Law during the 2014 season.
He serves as Associate Pastor of Cathedral of the Holy Spirit and is a Social Worker for the DCF. Lewis is also the Founder of Another Dimension Consultants, INC, a community agency for children and family advocacy programming.
Lewis is married to Daria and has three children, Briah, Christian and Amaya.
