Former Owl Brendan Lawless is in his second season as an
assistant coach with the program. He will assist with team
travel, fundraising, video editing and handle training of the
team’s goalkeepers.
Lawless played four seasons for the Owls (2004-07) and
was a two-time All-Conference selection.
His best two seasons at Southern Connecticut came in his
final two campaigns with the club. He posted a 17-3-3 mark
as a junior, along with 11 shutouts and a 0.62 goals against
average. As a senior, he went 12-1-4 with seven shutouts and
a 0.62 goals against average.
Lawless posted a 29-4-6 mark as a starting keeper at
Southern Connecticut in his career.
He currently resides in New Haven.
