NCAA qualifier…Northeast-10 Conference champion in the 50 freestyle, 200 medley relay, 200 freestyle relay, 100 freestyle and 400 freestyle relay…Placed second in the 400 yard freestyle relay (3:22.08), third in the 50 yard freestyle (22.26), third in the 200 yard medley relay (1:40.69), third in the 400 yard medley relay (3:38.95), fourth in the 200 yard free relay (1:30.51), sixth in the 800 yard free relay (7:55.12) and seventh in the 100 yard back (1:01.08) against West Chester University and Shippensburg on 10/2-10/3…Notched first in the 400 yard freestyle relay (3:23.76), second in the 200 yard medley relay (1:38.13), fourth in the 50 yard freestyle (22.29) and sixth in the 100 yard freestyle (51.83) against The College of New Jersey on 10/31…Achieved first in the 50 yard freestyle (21.47), first in the 200 yard medley relay (1:35.98) and third in the 100 yard freestyle (48.38) against Saint Rose on 11/7...Finished fourth in the 100 yard backstroke (58.03) and 10th in the 100 yard butterfly (57.22) against the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy on 11/21…Touched the wall second in the 50 yard free (21.67), third in the 400 yard free relay (3:13.35), 11th in the 100 yard free (48.43), 22nd in the 100 yard back (59.11), and 32nd in the 100 yard fly (57.48) at the ECAC Winter Championship on 12/4-12/6…Placed first in the 200 yard freestyle relay (1:27.98), second in the 50 yard freestyle (21.68) and fifth in the 100 yard freestyle (50.10) against Yale on 12/11…Touched the wall first in the 50 yard freestyle (21.33), first in the 200 yard freestyle relay (1:26.83) and fourth in the 100 yard freestyle (48.50) against Marist on 1/9…Finished third in the 200 yard freestyle relay (1:30.13), fourth in the 50 yard freestyle (22.33) and sixth in the 100 yard freestyle (50.53) against Connecticut College on 1/13…Notched first in the 50 yard freestyle (20.88) and first in the 100 yard freestyle (47.83) against Pace on 1/22…Placed first in the 50 yard freestyle (20.07), the 200 yard medley relay (1:31.16), the 200 yard freestyle relay (1:21.29), the 100 yard freestyle (45.16), the 400 yard freestyle relay (3:01.24) and third in the 200 yard freestyle (1:42.23) at the Northeast-10 Championships on 2/4-2/7…Placed sixth in the 100 yard freestyle (45.91), eighth in the 100 yard freestyle (46.23), ninth in the 100 yard butterfly (50.76), 10th in the 100 yard backstroke (52.11), 14th in the 100 yard butterfly (51.29), 14th in the 100 yard backstroke (53.18) against Metropolitan Collegiate Championships on 2/19-2/21.

Northeast-10 Champion as part of both the 200 and 400 yard freestyle relay and the 50 yard freestyle…Took second in the 50 yard freestyle (22.78) and second as part of the 200 yard freestyle relay (1:34.52) at Marist…Finished first in the 50 yard freestyle (21.81), sixth in the 100 yard freestyle (49.87) and second as part of the 200 yard freestyle relay (1:28.37) against Connecticut College…Placed third as part of the 400 yard medley relay (3:36.13) and first in the 50 yard freestyle (21.95) at St. Rose…Finished second as part of the 200 yard medley relay (1:40.26) and second in the 100 yard freestyle (49.49) at Le Moyne…Took first in the 50 yard freestyle (20.46), first as part of the 400 yard freestyle relay with a record setting time (3:05.36), 11th in the 100 yard butterfly (52.30), first as part of the 200 yard freestyle relay with a record setting time (1:22.56) and third in the 100 yard freestyle (46.42) at the Northeast-10 Championships…Placed fifth in the 50 yard freestyle (20.64), seventh in the 100 yard freestyle (46.38), 15th in the 100 yard backstroke (54.74), fourth as part of the 200 yard freestyle relay (1:23.27) and fifth as part of the 400 yard freestyle relay (3:07.38) at the Metropolitan Collegiate Championships.                   

Before Southern Connecticut State University:
Was an All-American and All-State at Watertown (Conn.) High School...Two-time team captain.

The son of Cindy and Tom Murphy...Born in Watertown, Conn....Plans to major in accounting.
