Steve Jussaume is in his second season as an assistant coach with the Owls in 2011-12. He works with the team's throwers.
Jussaume is no stranger to the area or the Northeast-10 Conference, as he was a four-year member of the University of New Haven indoor and outdoor track and field teams.
A team captain as junior and senior, Jussaume was a NCAA National Qualifier both seasons. He was also selected for the NCAA Division II All-Academic Team and ESPN The Magazine All-Academic Team. Jussaume also earned the UNH Athlete of the Year award in 2007.
Jussaume holds a bachelor’s degree in Fire Science Administration/Arson Investigation from University of New Haven, as well as a master’s degree in Business Administration from SCSU.
