Emily Belval joined Southern Connecticut Women's Soccer program prior to the start of the 2023-24 season. Belval came to Southern Connecticut from Eastern Connecticut State University where she was a four-year member of the women's soccer team.Â
Following her playing career at ECSU, Belval served as a student assistant coach in 2022. Belval also worked in the ECSU sports information office as an undergraduate student. Prior to Eastern Connecticut, Belval was a standout at Pomperaug (Conn.) High School in girl's soccer and track & field.Â
Belval graduated with a bachelor's degree in sport and leisure management from Eastern Connecticut in 2023 and is currently pursuing a master's degree in exercise science with a concentration in sports psychology at Southern Connecticut.Â
