Adriana Carrasco had a remarkable career as a student-athlete at Southern Connecticut. Carrasco was an All-American three times in the 4x400-meter relay and once in the 4x100-meter relay, and earned distinctions in both events during the indoor and outdoor season in her junior year in 2015-2016. She was also an All-Region selection 15 times between five events during indoor and outdoor competition. Carrasco won the NE10 Indoor and Outdoor 4x400-Meter Relay Championship in every season she competed in from 2015-2018, and was also the NE10 Outdoor 4x100-Meter Relay Champion in 2015 and 2016. Furthermore, Carrasco won the New England Indoor 4x400-Meter Relay Championship in 2016 and 2017, New England Outdoor 4x100-Meter Relay Championship in 2016, and New England Outdoor 4x400-Meter Relay Championship in 2015, 2016, and 2017. 

Carrasco also shined in the classroom, as she was a CoSIDA/Google Cloud Academic All-District selection for three times, and selected to the NE10 Indoor Track and Field All-Academic Team three times and Outdoor team twice. 

She was an All-Section, All-Area, and All-Conference selection at Hamden (Conn.) High School, and set the school record for the 4x200-meter relay while receiving SCC All-Academic Team honors. She competed for Hamden in the New England Championships in 2012 and qualified for Hamden in the New Balance Nationals in 2012.
