Dr. Jim MacGregor serves as the Faculty Athletics Representative at Southern Connecticut State University and as the chairperson of the department of recreation and leisure.
MacGregor has enjoyed a long relationship with the SCSU dating back to his days as an undergraduate. A widely respected and well-published member within the field of therapeutic recreation, MacGregor has been instrumental in both developing new courses and revising numerous others during his time as a professor at the university.
He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from SCSU and earned his doctorate in educational leadership from the University of Hartford.
