Southern Connecticut State University Athletics

Hazina Wanjagi is the club sports graduate intern at Southern Connecticut State, assisting with planning and coordinating club sports operations.

Wanjagi graduated from Appalachian State University in 2026 with a bachelor's degree in exercise science and is pursuing a master's degree in business administration in health care management at Southern Connecticut.

She is from Katy, Texas. She has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and enjoys strength training, running, hiking, snowboarding and exploring the outdoors. She played volleyball from middle school through high school and club volleyball in her first year of college. She is preparing to run her first half marathon in Utah in February and enjoys Texas barbecue.
