Julianna Bonilla is an assistant women's basketball coach.

Bonilla graduated from Marist University in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in psychology and from Southern Connecticut State University in 2025 with a master's degree in social work (LMSW).

She was a four-year member of the Marist women's basketball team from 2019-23, winning the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championship and advancing to the NCAA Tournament in 2021. She was a two-year team captain and three-time MAAC All-Academic Team selection. She played for Southern Connecticut in 2023-24, leading the team with 44 3-pointers and helping the Owls reach the Northeast 10 championship game while earning NE10 Academic Distinction.

Bonilla was an assistant coach at Southern Connecticut in 2024-25, helping the Owls to an NCAA Tournament appearance, and at Central Connecticut State in 2025-26.

Bonilla is from Waterford, Connecticut, and is of Italian and Puerto Rican descent. She speaks fluent Spanish and is learning Italian. She is the youngest of three children to parents Diana and Juan Bonilla.
