American Red Cross South Central Connecticut Chapter Receives Toys and Food From SCSU Athletic Department

Thanks to the generosity of SCSU student-athletes, coaches, staff and fans, the Owls were able to make a sizable contribution of toys and food to the American Red Cross South Central Connecticut Chapter.
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The byproducts of two successful promotional ventures by the Southern Connecticut State University Athletic Department resulted in a sizable contribution of food and toys to the American Red Cross South Central Connecticut Chapter on Friday morning. The Owls hosted a food drive at two November home basketball games and a toy drive at the Dec. 6 hoops doubleheader. Fans, student-athletes and staff generously donated an array of food, toys and other gifts that were dropped off to the organization's New Haven office. The items will be distributed to those in need during the holiday season.
