NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Representatives from the Southern Connecticut State University athletic department dropped off an array for items for the Give 2 The Troops organization on Tuesday. The organization's headquarters are located at its Rocky Hill, Conn. office. The Owls collected food and personal care items from fans, coaches, staff and student-athletes at several games during the month of October. The items will now be sent to U.S. troops who are serving abroad. Since December 2002, Give 2 The Troops has supported approximately 1 million deployed U.S. troops with loving care packages and letters from all over the nation.
