NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Southern Connecticut State University women's lacrosse team will host a drive at Saturday's 1 p.m. game against Franklin Pierce for the Out To Pasture Farm and Rescue organization. Located on 11 acres in rural Connecticut, the facility is a family-run non-profit animal rescue/rehabilitation organization that cares for animals in need.
The goal of the organization is to give these animals which are elderly, abused, terminally ill and/or physically challenged, a home where they can live out their natural lives with the physical and emotional support they deserve.
Fans are asked to bring any of the following items:
- Diapers (size 1-6)
- Depends pads for women
- Poise pads for men
- Goodnites
- Easyups
- Puppy pads
- Baby wipes
- Paper towels
The SCSU field hockey and lacrosse programs completed a semester-long drive for Out-to-Pasture in December and made a sizable contribution of items to the organization.
