NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Southern Connecticut State University women's lacrosse program recently promoted the Lax-4-Life initiative at its home games against Franklin Pierce and Assumption. The Owls sported t-shirts to raise awareness to the cause. In addition, both the SCSU and Assumption joined together prior to Wednesday's game to promote their shared efforts.

Lax-4-Life Inc. is a national lacrosse campaign to provide and support programs geared toward adolescent and young adult suicide prevention awareness.
