NEW HAVEN, Conn. -  The Southern Connecticut State University men's and women's track and field programs hosted the 2015 James Barber/ Wilton Wright Southern Connecticut Alumni meet earlier today at Moore Field House in New Haven, Conn.

The James Barber/Wilton Wright Southern Alumni Meet is an annual event. Southern athletes from past and present participated in the event. There were running and field events, including heats for children. James Barber and Wilton Wright themselves were in attendence along with other important figures in Southern Track and Field history.

The Owls are back in action on Thursday, Dec. 10th as they host the Elm City Challenge.
