NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Southern Connecticut State University volleyball coach Lisa Barbaro has been selected for induction into the New Haven Tap-Off Club Basketball Hall of Fame. She will formally be inducted at an event on November 8 at Amarante's Sea Cliff in New Haven.

The event starts at 6:30 p.m. Tickets cost $45 each.

As a scholastic athlete at The Morgan School in Clinton, Conn., Barbaro played basketball, volleyball and softball on six state championship teams, including titles in all three sports in 1995-96. She was an All-State and First-Team All-Conference selection in all three sports. Barbaro was also a former two-time New Haven Register Athlete of the Year.

Barbaro was previously inducted into the Connecticut Women's Volleyball Hall of Fame in the high school player category on November 17, 2005.
