WORCESTER, Mass.  – Behind a fifth straight double-double from junior Leanna Jadus (Long Beach, Calif.) and the third in a row from senior Alexandria Jurgens (Cornwall, N.Y.), the Southern Connecticut State University volleyball team won its fourth game in a row, 3-1, at Assumption tonight.

LOOKING AT THE NUMBERS
- Jadus posted a game-high 18 kills and added 15 digs, while Jurgens notched a career-high 35 assists and 11 digs.
- Gabriela Vazquez (Meriden, Conn.) registered 13 kills and 15 digs in the win.
- Alyssa Gage (Beverly Hills, Fla.) tallied 12 kills for the Owls.
-  Anna Venard (Thornton, Colo.) recorded a game-high 24 digs.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Assumption jumped out to a 5-1 lead in game one and held the lead for almost the entirety of the frame. The Owls took a brief lead at 22-21, but the Greyhounds scored the final four points for the win.
- The Owls trailed briefly in game two at 2-1 and then never trailed again. SCSU led by as many as seven, inclusive of the final margin of victory.
- Assumption scored the first point of game three, but the Owls answered with seven in a row and led by as many as nine.
- The final game saw the lead go back and forth, with the Owls finally snapping a 20-20 tie to take the lead for good.
