NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Southern Connecticut State University women's swimming and diving team beat Le Moyne in today's meet, 149-138.

KEY PERFORMERS
- The 200 medley relay started the day off well for the Owls, as the quartet of
Hannah Morse (Loveland, Colo.),
Lilly Martin (Bristol, Conn.),
Emily Wolfe (Haventown, Pa.) and
Katherine Crochet (Watertown, Conn.) claimed a first place finish with a time of 1:52.88.

Avery Fornaciari (Plymouth, Mass.) took first place in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 11:06.31.

Megan Garner (Hamden, Conn.) and Morse finished first and second in the 100 backstroke. Garner claimed first with a time of 1:02.63 and Morse registered second with a time of 1:03.41.
- Wolfe and
Sydney Fromkin (Sharon, Mass.) had top-three finishes in the 200 freestyle. Wolfe notched a first place finish with a time of 2:01.32 and Fromkin finished third with a time of 2:02.61.

Alina Tucker (Bellmore, N.Y.) registered first place in the 50 freestyle with a time of 25.76 and
Erin Leirey (Lake Katrine, N.Y.) placed third in the 50 freestyle with a time of 26.11.
- The duo of
Michelle Quero (Antioch, Ill.) and
Isabel Williams (Woodbury, Conn.) claimed first and second place in the one-meter dive. Quero scored a 216.97 for first place and Williams scored 201.45 for second place.
- Williams also recorded a first place in the three-meter dive with a score of 217.50.
- The Owls dominated the 100 freestyle, grabbing first and second places. Crochet took first place with a time of 53.58 and Martin finished second with a time of 56.80.

Jordan Thompson (Campbell Hall, N.Y.) finished first in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:25.87.
UP NEXT
The Owls will host Saint Rose on Friday Jan. 19, with the meet set to start at 5 p.m.
