PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - The Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team dropped a 6-0 decision in NE10 conference play to No. 9 nationally ranked Pace University this evening at Peter X. Finnerty Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Pace struck early as they opened the scoring just under three minutes into the game. They would strike three more times in the first half to take a commanding 4-0 lead heading into halftime.
- The Setters would then add two more goals a minute apart in the second half to increase their lead to six and secure the 6-0 victory.
- Junior Brianna Craft (Hamden, Conn.) made six saves, while senior Kelli McCombs (Bristow, Va.) made one save in relief for the Owls. Sophomore Julia Kostek (Killingworth, Conn.) collected her first career defensive save at 58:10 of the game.
