HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Dolphins offense was on fire tonight as they outscored the Owls 44-28 in the first half. Le Moyne outshot the Owls 16-of-33 overall and 8-for-15 from the three-point line compared to 11-of-30 and 3-for-11 from beyond the arc for Southern.
• In the second half, the Owls cut down a 16 point deficit into a six point game with one minute remaining, but Le Moyne went 7-7 from the free throw line to keep the Owls at bay and hold on to their ten point lead.
• Senior Luke Beesley (Champaign, Ill.) recorded his second double-double of the season scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds in the loss.
