NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team honored its seven-member senior class, but fell to No. 7 Stonehill College this evening at Jess Dow Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Stonehill opened the scoring at 7:17 when Kacie Smith got the Skyhawks on the board with her first of the game. The Skyhawks would go on to add five more goals and had a 6-0 lead heading into halftime.
- The Skyhawks added two more second half goals to extend their lead to eight and solidified the victory in New Haven.
- Junior Brianna Craft (Hamden, Conn.) made 16 saves in relief for the Owls.
