Karley Welles (Newington, Conn.) opened the scoring at the 4:56 mark to give the Owls a 1-0 lead early in the game. The Penmen then scored four unanswered goals and took a three goal lead heading into halftime.

Chloe Knight (New Milford, Conn.) cut the SNHU lead in half at 36:36 as she glided through the Penmen defense to notch her first of the season, 4-2.
- Welles collected her second of the day off a penalty corner from freshman
Lauren Wright (Westbrook, Conn.).
- The Penmen went on to score three unanswered goals and increase their lead to four and secure their victory.Â
