NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team lost this evening to American International College, 4-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first half saw the Owls outshoot the Yellow Jackets 10-6, but neither team found the back of the net.
- AIC jumped on the board 8:10 into the second half after AIC's Chelsea Davis scored on a penalty stroke.They struck again at 47:08 when Meghan Brock intercepted a pass and slid it into the right side to increase the Yellow Jacket's lead to two.

Natasha Prukalski (Danbury, Conn.) connected with fellow classmateÂ
Jana Migliaro (Monroe, Conn.) , who scored her first goal of the season, cutting the Yellow Jackets lead in half.
- AIC scored two more unanswered goals to secure the victory, 4-1.
