NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Solid contributions in all three phases of the game powered the Southern Connecticut State University football team to a 42-21 win over Stonehill this evening.

Eli Parks (Bristol, Conn.) finished with a career-high 31 carries for 140 yards.
- Redshirt freshman quarterback
Matthew Sapere (Old Lyme, Conn.) fared well in his first collegiate start, as he completed 15-of-22 passes for 169 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing 10 times for 56 yards.

Jhaaron Wallace (Hartford, Conn.) had a career-high 15 tackles and also recovered a fumble for a touchdown.

Jarred Bennett-Moorer (Bronx, N.Y.) totaled nine tackles and 1.5 sacks, including the one that culminated in Wallace's touchdown.

Vochan Fowler (Bridgeport, Conn.) gained 96 yards on just 12 carries, including a 53-yard touchdown run.
- Southern posted its first blocked punt touchdown since 2014, as
Erick Pasqualone (White Plains, N.Y.) came up with the block, and
Jeremiah Banto (Providence, R.I.) took it in from four yards out.
