Field Hockey Drops Decision to Pace in Non-Conference Play

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - The Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team fell to Pace University, 8-1 at Sodexo Field. The Owls fall to 2-9 overall, while the Setters improve to 9-5 overall.

Notes
  • Sophomore Brianna Shaw (Branford, Conn.) collected her second career goal and led the team in shots with four.
  • Sophomore Kiley Jackson (Cheshire, Conn.) recorded her first collegiate assist on Shaw's goal.
  • Graduate student Megan Habakangas (Columbia, Conn.) and Jackson contributed one shot on goal each. 
  • Junior Grace Conselyea (Milford, Pa.) tallied her first career defensive save.
  • Junior Janelle Ward (Kitchener, Ontario) had 17 saves for the Owls in goal.
