Women's Soccer Falls to Saint Anselm on Senior Day

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Southern Connecticut State University women's soccer team fell to Saint Anselm College, 2-0, at Jess Dow Field. The Owls fell to 5-6-2 overall and 4-4-2 in Northeast 10, while the Hawks improved to 8-3-1 overall and 6-3-1 in the NE10.

Prior to the start of the match, the Owls honored their nine-member senior class—Abby Allen, Greta Brunello, Kelsey Burr, Kaitlyn D'Amico, Taylor Davis, Amanda Dustin, Nadine Hilkert, Mia Mulin, and Georgia Teixeira.

How It Happened
  • Saint Anselm struck first in the 66th minute of the game on a goal from Grace Foley. The Hawks picked up their second goal in the 90th minute to seal the victory.
 
Notes
  • Kylee Slavik registered her fifth-straight game with four or more shots.
