NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Southern Connecticut State University women's soccer team earned a spot in the Northeast 10 Conference Postseason Tournament after playing to a 0-0 draw against Stonehill College in double overtime at Jess Dow Field. The Owls finish the regular season 6-7-3 overall and 5-5-3 in the NE10, while Stonehill finishes 8-8-2 overall and 5-6-2 in the conference.

Notes

Allie Smith made six saves between the pipes for the Owls en route to her seventh shutout of the season.
Victoria Vera had three shots for SCSU, while Mia Mulin, Kelsey Burr and Riley Ayer had two shots each.

Looking Ahead
The Owls will face No. 1 seeded Southern New Hampshire in the NE10 Quarterfinals on Sunday, Nov. 7 in Manchester, N.H. The Penmen finished the regular season 13-2-1 overall and 11-2 in the Northeast 10. SNHU jumped to the first seed after the Owls defeated Saint Rose, 1-0, on Oct. 30.
