NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Southern Connecticut State University women's soccer team earned a spot in the Northeast 10 Conference Postseason Tournament after playing to a 0-0 draw against Stonehill College in double overtime at Jess Dow Field. The Owls finish the regular season 6-7-3 overall and 5-5-3 in the NE10, while Stonehill finishes 8-8-2 overall and 5-6-2 in the conference.

The Owls will face No. 1 seeded Southern New Hampshire in the NE10 Quarterfinals on Sunday, Nov. 7 in Manchester, N.H. The Penmen finished the regular season 13-2-1 overall and 11-2 in the Northeast 10. SNHU jumped to the first seed after the Owls defeated Saint Rose, 1-0, on Oct. 30.Â
