The Southern Connecticut State University men's basketball team will play their final of five consecutive home games on Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021 , when they host the Holy Family Tigers of the
Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC). Southern is currently 2-2 this season in the non-conference portion of their schedule, and 12-4 dating back to the 2018-2019 season.

SCSU Spectator Policy
- In compliance with the University policy, all individuals - regardless of vaccination status - must wear a mask when attending indoor competitions at Pelz Gymnasium, James Moore Field House or the Bruce Hutchinson Natatorium.
- Spectators will be asked to practice social distancing whenever possible whether indoors or outdoors. There will not be restrictions on fan attendance, specifically related to capacity, but fans are asked to remain in small, communal groups and maintain social distance from other groups while in the stands whenever possible.
- SCSU continues to encourage fans and spectators to follow the guidance of public health officials, including social distancing and increased hand hygiene. Spectators will not be permitted near team benches or sidelines and may not interact with student-athletes before, during, or after the conclusion of the event on the playing fields/courts. Per University policy, the wearing of face masks is required in all campus buildings and at outside locations where social distancing is not possible.

Leo Chaikin (South Hero, Vt.) scored 20 points on 9-of-10 shooting to lead the Owls, while
Ulyen Coleman (Brockton, Mass.) scored 14 points and made three three-pointers.
Alex Lin (Hillsdale, N.J.) provided a spark off the bench in the second-half, as he scored 11 points, shot 4-of-7 from the field and 3-of-5 from three-point range, and blocked two shots.

Last Time They Met: Southern has played three games against Holy Family; a 90-70 loss in Philadelphia, Pa. on Dec. 7, 2015, a 105-103 season-opening win in Bridgeport, Conn. on Nov. 12, 2016, and a 78-65 win on Dec. 30, 2016 at James Moore Field House.

- Bennett was named to the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll following his performances against Saint Rose and Lincoln. Bennett averaged 12 points, nine assists, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.5 steals per game.
Week 2:
- Coleman was named to the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll after he scored 20 points on 8-of-11 shooting and 3-of-6 from three-point range on the road against Jefferson. He also recorded a career-high five steals to go along with three rebounds

- Bennett was named to the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll following his performances at the Bridgeport Tournament. Bennett averaged 16 points, 6.5 assists, and 4.5 rebounds per game while going 11-for-17 from the field and 4-for-9 from three-point range.
