The Southern Connecticut State University men's soccer team will host Saint Michael's at Jess Dow Field on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021 at 2:00 to open up Northeast 10 Conference play.

SCSU Athletics Spectator Policy 
In compliance with the University policy, all individuals - regardless of vaccination status - must wear a mask when attending Friday's game at Jess Dow Field anytime fans are not sitting in their seat or unable to social distance.  

Spectators will be asked to practice social distancing whenever possible whether indoors or outdoors. There will not be restrictions on fan attendance, specifically related to capacity, but fans are asked to remain in small, communal groups and maintain social distance from other groups while in the stands whenever possible.   
  
SCSU continues to encourage fans and spectators to follow the guidance of public health officials, including social distancing and increased hand hygiene. Spectators will not be permitted near team benches or sidelines and may not interact with student-athletes before, during, or after the conclusion of the event on the playing fields/courts. Per University policy, the wearing of face masks is required in all campus buildings and at outside locations where social distancing is not possible.  

All-Time Against Saint Michael's: 16-2-4 
The Last Time They Met: Southern and Saint Michael's played to a 1-1 draw on Sept. 21, 2019 at Duffy Field in Colchester, Vt. Kevin Van der Pol (Drammen, Buskerud, Norway)assisted on the Owls' lone goal by Francisco Roldán Martín (Malaga, Spain), which came in the 89th minute to tie the score. Andrey Carvalho (Aluminio, Sao Paulo, Brazil) had six save during the game. 
 
Last Time Out 
Southern fell to No. 13 Wilmington, 5-0, on Sept. 15 to wrap up their non-conference schedule. Bailey Bassett (Andover, Conn.) recorded five games as the goalkeeper. Juan Avila (Clinton, Conn.), Jhan Carlos Bermeo (Clinton, Conn.), Joshi Muñoz (New Haven, Conn.) all had one shot on goal each.
