WALTHAM, Mass. - The Southern Connecticut State University women's soccer team lost to Bentley, 3-0, in Waltham, Mass. on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021. With the loss, the Owls drop to 1-4-0 overall and 0-2-0 in the Northeast 10, while the Falcons improve to 2-1-2 overall and 2-0-0 in the NE10.
Allie Smith (Danbury, Conn.) recorded seven saves in goal, while
Kaitlyn D'Amico (Middletown, Conn.) had two shots on goal and
Victoria Vera (Plainview, N.Y.) had one.
Bentley's three goals all came in between the 59th and 66th minute of action, with their second goal coming on a penalty kick.
Notes
- Smith's seven saves were a new season-high. She previously had six saves on Sept. 15 against Adelphi.
