  • At the 10:34 mark of the second quarter, Brianna Caffrey (Hampton, Conn.) took a shot that got through traffic and tipped off the stick of Brianna Shaw (Branford, Conn.) and landed in front of Josephine Nolet (Haverhill, Mass.), who buried it on the left side of goal to put the Owls up by two.
  • Mercy's Katie Kreider got the Mavericks on the board taking a shot from the hash mark that got past Ward at the 11:42 mark of the third quarter.
  • The Owls responded at the 5:45 mark of the third quarter as Megan Habakangas (Columbia, Conn.) took a shot from the top of the circle that was deflected by Caffrey who was camped out in front of the net.
