Stonehill Athletics Spectator Policy
Prior to arriving on campus, each member of your party must complete the Stonehill centralized Campus Access Authorization Form. Please note the online form must be completed on the day of your planned visit, and if you or any member of your travel party is exhibiting any COVID symptoms, you may not access the Stonehill campus.
After successfully completing the
centralized Campus Access Authorization Form, you will receive an email credential, providing you to access to campus to attend an athletic contest. Upon arrival at Stonehill's main entrance on Belmont Street, please inform the gate attendant you are attending a sporting event and display the email credential on your smartphone (or print out) to the gate attendant.
When attending an
OUTDOOR competition on campus, masks are required at all times for all
unvaccinated spectators. Fully vaccinated spectators are not required to wear a mask outdoors, but are welcome and encouraged to do so if they choose. When attending an
INDOOR competition,
ALL spectators must wear a mask at all times while inside the competition venue,
regardless of vaccination status.
No indoor pre- or postgame 'tailgating' or other group event is permitted at this time. Spectators are welcome to enjoy gathering outdoors rain or shine while adhering to COVID guidelines.

The Last Time They Met: Southern defeated Stonehill, 2-0, on Sept. 28, 2019 at Jess Dow Field. Southern received goals by
Devante Teixeira and
Francisco Roldán Martín, while
Tomi Terrugi and
Blaise Haba recorded assists. Overall, Southern has won seven of their last eight games against Stonehill.

Bailey Bassett (Andover, Conn.) recorded two saves, while

Matthew Jaansalu (Kingston, Ontario) all recorded one shot on goal.
Player Notes
- Bassett's eight saves against Saint Michael's on Sept. 18 were a new season high, and was one off equaling his career high of nine done against Saint Anselm on Oct. 26, 2018.
- Bassett recorded his second shutout of the season against Saint Michael's (also done against Bridgeport on Sept. 8) and sixth of his career.
- Bassett has recorded at least five saves in four of the six games played this season.
- Against Saint Michael's, Jean and Best became the first freshman duo to both record a goal in a game since Devante Teixeira and Jan-Malte Thesenvitz did so on Oct. 1, 2016 against Saint Anselm.
- Best became the first player to score a goal in their first career game at Southern since Louis Greenway Tambini did so on Sept. 3, 2015 against Dominican.
- Against Saint Michael's, Jean became the first Southern freshman to record a goal and an assist in the same game since Chae Brangman did so on Nov. 4, 2014 against Franklin Pierce.
