Adelphi Spectator Policy
- Upon entry to the athletic facilities, all fans must show proof of vaccination OR a negative PCR test result within 72-hours of the event, OR a negative rapid test result within 24 hours of the event.

- Social distancing is encouraged in all athletic facilities.
- Face masks MUST be worn indoors (and outdoors when social distancing can't be achieved), per Adelphi University policy.

The Last Time They Met: Southern and No. 1 nationally Adelphi played to a 1-1 draw on Oct. 1, 2019 at Jess Dow Field.
Daniel Utgaard scored the lone Owls' goal in the in the 86th minute, while
Andrey Carvalho had six saves.
Last Time Out
Southern lost to Stonehill, 4-1, in Easton, Mass. on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021.
Leroy Best scored his second career goal in the 32nd minute of action, while
Juan Alava recorded his first assist at Southern.
Player Notes
- Best currently leads the Owls with two goals scored this season, with his other goal coming on Sept. 18, 2021 against Saint Michael's.
- Bassett's eight saves against Saint Michael's on Sept. 18 were a new season high, and was one off equaling his career high of nine done against Saint Anselm on Oct. 26, 2018.
- Bassett recorded his second shutout of the season against Saint Michael's (also done against Bridgeport on Sept. 8) and sixth of his career.
- Bassett has recorded at least five saves in four of the six games played this season.
- Against Saint Michael's, Jean and Best became the first freshman duo to both record a goal in a game since Devante Teixeira and Jan-Malte Thesenvitz did so on Oct. 1, 2016 against Saint Anselm.
- Best became the first player to score a goal in their first career game at Southern since Louis Greenway Tambini did so on Sept. 3, 2015 against Dominican.
- Against Saint Michael's, Jean became the first Southern freshman to record a goal and an assist in the same game since Chae Brangman did so on Nov. 4, 2014 against Franklin Pierce.

- Bassett ranks second in in the NE10 in saves (29) and third in shutouts (2).
- Bassett also ranks 29th nationally in total saves.
