Senior Overview
- Kelly Jagodzinski: Jagodzinski has scored 30 goals and recorded 13 assists, 44 ground balls, 28 caused turnovers, and 88 draw controls in 44 career games, 40 of which she has started. She has scored nine goals and dished out six assists this season.
- Mia Pulisciano: A transfer from Enidcott, Pulisciano has had 18 goals, seven assists, 22 ground balls, 22 caused turnovers, and 38 draw controls in 26 career games at Southern. This season, she has scored seven goals with three assists, including a three goal performance against nationally-ranked Saint Anselm on March 5.
- Karlie Rowe: In 44 career games, Rowe has scored 86 goals and dished out 18 assists. She became the ninth player in program history to reach the 100-career point plateau when she had an assist against New Haven on April 13. Rowe also ranks seventh all-time in goals scored. In 2019, she was a member of the NE10 All-Rookie Team, and set an SCSU single-game program record for goals scored by a freshman on March 30, 2019 against Franklin Pierce with seven. She has 29 goals and 11 assists so far this season.
- Bayleigh Takacs: Takacs has 92 points in 40 career games, with 58 goals and 34 assists. Takacs currently is fifth all-time in SCSU history with assists, and tied the program record for assists in a single-game with five against Post on Feb. 29, 2020. Takacs also led the NE10 in points in 2020. This season, she has 31 goals and eight assists.

Southern lost to No. 14 nationally ranked Stonehill, 20-6, at W.B. Mason Stadium on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Five different Southern players scored goals, with
Karlie Rowe (Niantic, Conn.) scoring two.
Alexandra Ruel (Ivoryton, Conn.), Bayleigh Takacs (Sparta, N.J.), Brianna Shaw (Branford, Conn.), and
Savannah Feinberg (Sound Beach, N.Y.) all scored one goal each. Shaw also caused three turnovers.
All-time Against Saint Rose: 1-0
Last Time They Met: Southern came back to defeat Saint Rose, 10-9, in the first ever matchup between the two programs on Monday, April 19, 2021 at Plumeri Sports Complex in Albany, N.Y. Southern scored the final four goals in the last 10 minutes of the game to complete their comeback, capped off by a goal by
Mia Pulisciano (Cheshire, Conn.) with 1:13 remaining in the game.
Steph Seymour tied her career-high with four goals scored and added two assists, while
Hailey Gordon scored two goals, including the game-tying goal with 4:50 remaining. Rowe,
Molly Kelly (Colchester, Conn.), and
Kelly Jagodzinski (Stamford, Conn.) also added goals for the Owls, while Jagodzinski and
Jettke Gray (Easton, Conn.) also recorded assists.
Laura Morton (Somers, Conn.) recorded nine saves.
Milestone Watch
- Rowe has scored 86 career goals and has 104 career points, and has recorded at least one goal or one assist in 41 of her 44 career games. She is the ninth player in program history with at least 100 points, and is tied with Elaina Heiple (104) for eighth. Rowe is one point away from tying Kennedy Sherman for seventh in career-points.
- Rowe has 11 assists this season, a career-high and tied for 10th most in a single season in program history.
- Takacs has recorded 58 goals, 34 assists, and 92 points in her career, and has recorded at least one point in 28 consecutive games dating back to April 13, 2019.
- Takacs currently ranks fifth all-time in program history in career assists. She is one assist away from tying Kennedy Sherman, who had 35.
- Shaw has caused 26 turnovers this season, tied for fourth most in program history in a season. It is also the seventh time in program history a player has at least 25 caused turnovers. Robbins is right behind her at 23. Shaw is one away from tying Carolynn Keal for the third best single-season mark. Keal also holds the season record at 35 in 2017.
NE10/NCAA Ranks
- Shaw ranks second in the NE10 in caused turnovers with 26, while Robbins ranks third with 23. Shaw is also 19th nationally in caused turnovers per game at 2.00 and Robbins is 31st nationally at 1.77 per game.
- Shaw and Robbins are also one of five pairs of teammates in all of Division II with at least 23 caused turnovers this season. Others are from East Stroudsburg, Indiana (Pa.), Rollins, and West Chester.
- Southern is sixth nationally in caused turnovers per game at 12.54, and first in the NE10.
Northeast 10 Weekly Honors
Week 6:
- Takacs was named to the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll after she recorded 11 points, seven goals and four assists during a 1-1 week. Against American International, she scored two goals and handed out two assists. Against Franklin Piece, she recorded a new career-highs in goals with five and dished out two more assists.
- Rileigh Bunton (Pelham, N.H.) was named to the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll after she had 18 saves and allowed just 12 goals in a one-point win against AIC. Bunton had 11 saves in the second quarter alone, and made a key stop in the final seconds to seal the win. Her 18 saves are tied for the second-most in a game by an NE10 player this season.
Week 3:
- Rowe was named to the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll after she scored a season-high five goals and had two assists against Saint Michael's in an 11-9 win.
Week 2:
- Sophie Kurtz (Cheshire, Conn.) was named to the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll after she allowed just four goals and had six saves during Southern's 14-4 win against Post.
Week 1:
- Takacs was named to the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll after she scored four goals and recorded three assists against Molloy.
