Game 1: No. 1 Southern New Hampshire 16, No. 5 Southern Connecticut 1
Southern scored the game's first run when they manufactured a run in the second inning. Connor Goggin worked the count and reached by a base on balls. Goggin then stole second and moved to third on passed ball before Dave Christoforo's ground ball to first base scored the Owls' freshman.

The Owls lead was short-lived as SNHU four unearned runs in the top of the third inning. Danniel Rivera singled down the left field line, and then reached second when a botched attempt a double play allowed both runners to reach. Sam Henrie hit a deep fly to right allowed Rivera to move to third before Nick Schwartz hit what looked like a tailor-made double play ball to short, which was misplayed, allowing Rivera to score.

Dakota Mulcay then jumped on the first offering from Steve Phillips and crushed a three-run homer to right field to give the Penmen a 4-1 lead. In the fourth, the Penmen capitalized on another Owls error and scored another unearned run to take a four-run lead, 5-1.

Owls starter Steve Phillips left the game in favor of Spencer Fox in the sixth inning. Phillips was the victim of four errors resulting in all five runs up to that point being unearned. Fox entered the game with the bases loaded and no outs after the lead-off batter reached on an error and Phillips walked the next two batters.

Southern New Hampshire scored seven more runs off of Fox, three of which were all credited to Phillips, but were all unearned as the Penmen took an 12-1 lead. Fox gave up a run in the eight and two in the ninth inning.

Southern's Goggin was the Owls lone shining spot as he had three of Southern's four hits in the game, including a ninth-inning double, to go along with two singles.

Game 2: No. 1 Southern New Hampshire ##, No. 5 Southern Connecticut ##
