GARDEN CITY, N.Y. - The Southern Connecticut field hockey team fell to Adelphi University, 9-0, at Motamed Field. With the loss, the Owls fell to 2-4 overall and 1-1 in the Northeast 10, while the Panthers improved to 2-4 and 1-0 in the NE10.
Kaitlyn Parent (Glastonbury, Conn.) had a career-high 14 saves in the loss for the Owls.
