SCSU Men's Basketball Run Win Streak To Three Games With 78-66 Win At No.21 Pace

SCSU Men's Basketball picked up their third win in a row against Pace University, 78-66, handing the #21 ranked setters their second loss of the season. This conference road win brings the Owls overall record to 6-2 on the season with a Northeast 10 conference record of 3-2. 

The Owls found themselves in a close fought battle in the first half of play with 4 lead changes and a final first half score of 29-29. However coming out of the half the Owls would regain the lead and would not surrender it for the remainder of the second half. 

The Owls shot an impressive 63% from the field in the second half and it was once again Josh McGettigan leading the way on the offensive end with a 24 point performance, shooting 5-7 from the field. Kazell Stewart also had himself an efficient night shooting 6-7 from the field with17 points and 8 rebounds. 6'6 red shirt sophomore Cherif Diarra also continued to get it done on the boards for the Owls posting another game high 10 rebounds in the road win. 

The Owls will have a lengthy break before looking to carry this momentum into their next game against Georgian Court in Lakewood, NJ on Dec. 16th at 12PM.
