The Southern Connecticut State University men's track and field team finished in second place at the New England Outdoor Championship on Saturday 13, 2023, Southern scored 99 points. The Owls also placed first in four events.

Individual Champions

• Jordan Davis won first place in Javelin Throw with a mark of 74.37 meters and a New England Meet Record. 
• In the Shot Put, Cameron Belton finished first with a mark of 17.73 meters
• Ramsley Exantus won first place in the 400 hurdles with a time of 51.70

Track Medalists

• Elijah Henry finished second in the 400 meters run with a time of 47.11. 
• Jonathan Volpe finished second in the 800 Run with a time of 1:50:87
• Manning finished in second place with a time of 52.51.
• The 4x400 -meter relay team of Elijah Henry, Christ N'Dabian, Sachin Manning, and Ramsley Exantus won first place with a time of 3:13.01

Field Medalists

• In the Discuss Throw, Barnett finished second with a mark of 51.87 meters, a personal best.
• Mbaya finished in second place in the Shot Put  with a mark of 17.48 meters.
• Nathaniel Llanos finished second in the Pole Vault with a mark of 5.05 meters.

Other Notable Finishes

• In the Pole Vault, Hayes and Rovelli finished ninth and eighteenth, respectively.
• Riley Bjornberg finished seventh in the Long Jump with a mark of 6.99 meters.  
• Natanael Barbosa finished tenth in the Shot Put with a leap of 15.70 meters. 
• The 4x100-meter relay team of Osaretin Osa tie, Nolan Freeman, Christ N'Dabian, and Elijah Henry finished in tenth place with a time of 41.91.
• In the 3000 Steeplechase, Sean Barkasy finished in tenth place with a time of 9:38.59, and William Lamburn finished thirteenth with a time of 9.43:82
• The 4x800 meter-relay team of Shea Kenney, Besufekad Opstrup, Nolan Scott, and Jonathan Volpe finished sixth with a time of 7:50.55
