SCSU Field Hockey Falls To Assumption

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Southern Connecticut field hockey lost to Assumption, 5-0, in a Northeast-10 Conference game at Jess Dow Field in New Haven, Conn. With the loss, Southern dropped to 1-5 overall and 0-2 in NE10 play while Assumption improved to 3-4 overall and 1-0 in conference play.

Southern Connecticut goalkeeper Rachel Miller made seven saves in the game, while Megan Tillona and Tori Geaglone managed two shots each.

Southern is back in action on Friday, Sept. 22 when it hosts Franklin Pierce for a NE10 matchup at 7 p.m. at Jess Dow Field.
